Cunningham Chase County Ranch and Flint Hills Royal Arabians...

Cunningham Chase County (CCC) Ranch has been home to Flint Hills Royal Arabians, the brain child of Dr. Sandra Cunningham (Dr. Sandi) since the year 2000. The ranch is located in the heart of tall grass country in Chase County's Flint Hills area of south central Kansas (see map).

CCC Ranch was originally purchased by Dr. Sandi's father, Glenn Cunningham (1961 Kansas Sports Hall of Fame inductee) in 1939 and given to her mother, Margaret S. Cunningham. Dr. Sandi has since realized her dream of owning and breeding fine Egyptian Arabians on 40 acres of the CCC Ranch. The remainder of the ranch is devoted to summer cattle range.

While Dr. Sandi and her beautiful horses are the heart of the operation, activity centers around a unique octagonal house/barn she had built in 2000. The structure enables her to view the stalls, corrals, and indoor arena from every room of the house--an ideal situation at foaling time!

With four beautiful black foals on the ground, two on the way, and a brood mare all by Rockin' Heart Ranch's Thee Desperado son, RHR Safar, Dr. Sandi is well on her way to fulfilling her dream.
